We are Rio Rico Property Owners Association (RRPOA), formerly also known as "Residents of Rio Rico"(RORR), a 501(c)4 a non-denominational civic membership organization devoted to promoting civic awareness within the Rio Rico community and when possible, providing activities for all residents of the community through our Rio Rico Community Center.
RRPOA is governed by a set of By-Laws and represented by a Board of Directors with four Executive Officers: President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. Board Committees are formed throughout the year to plan and provide activities and projects designed to benefit our residents. Our "Community Sign" (located in front of the Chevron Station on Yavapai Drive) notifies residents of Rio Rico of upcoming events. Volunteers are welcome!
Rio Rico Property Owners Association brings neighbors together to share interests and concerns. Our goal is to make the Rio Rico Community Center a center of the community. We are doing this by promoting services to the community for seniors, students, families and organizations that provide services to the community. New members looking for an opportunity to meet their neighbors and contribute their time are welcome.
The Rio Rico Community Center, is a 501(c)3 non-profit facility that is owned and maintained by the Rio Rico Property Owners Association (RRPOA) Board of Directors and is open to all residents of Rio Rico and Santa Cruz County. We are not an HOA and do not make any rules. Rental fees are charged to defray costs such as utilities, insurance and maintenance. Our facility is as attractive and convenient as funds can accomplish and for only $15.00 (Revised 1/1/2019) from January to December, RRPOA Members receive a $30.00 discount upon rental of facility during their active membership calendar year. Contact with current and past members is via email for activities, meetings and other notifications involving our community.
You will find information on our website about regular programs offered at the Rio Rico Community Center, including upcoming events, important meetings, as well as membership in our organization and opportunities to be of service to your Rio Rico neighbors.

Rio Rico Property Owners Association (RRPOA) Community Sign
The purpose of the community sign located at the corner of Yavapai Drive and Camino Caralampi is to advertise meetings of the Rio Rico Property Owners Association, to announce guest speakers, fundraising projects and other RRPOA sponsored events. The sign can be made available to other qualifying Rio Rico community organizations, churches and public agencies to advertise their events and to make public service announcements.
RRPOA owns and has sole responsibility for the sign's maintenance and scheduling, including updating the postings. To request use of the Community Sign, contact Bill Tomczyk at firstname.lastname@example.org
Qualifying Agencies for Community Sign Use
Community-based service organizations, churches and public agencies qualify to use the community sign to advertise fundraising activities, special public meetings and public service announcements. Use of the community is subject to RORR policies and is subject to availability, i.e., when NOT in conflict with RORR events.
