RIO RICO COMMUNITY CENTER FACILITY Hall and Ramada are perfect for regular group or club meetings, wedding receptions and parties, family reunions, holiday cookouts, corporate functions and sales meetings.
HALL: The Rio Rico Community Center hall is an air conditioned handicapped accessible non-smoking hall which includes 14 tables and 70 chairs, a full-sized kitchen and clean bathrooms. Both the Hall and Ramada are perfect for regular group or club meetings, wedding receptions and parties, family reunions, holiday cookouts, corporate functions and sales meetings.
RAMADA: Located in the backside of the building, we have a beautiful fully LED lit Ramada area with its own outside bathrooms and 2 (non-propane) barbeque grills. Renters must provide their own tables and chairs which will have to be removed by noon the following day.
Rio Rico residents and visitors interested in considering renting the facility can call (520) 281-7880 for date availability. Please leave your name, the best time you can be reached, the date you are planning your event, and your call-back telephone number. Your call will be returned within 3-4 days to inform you of available date(s) and schedule an appointment time.
GENERAL RENTAL GUIDELINES:
1. It is recommended that interested renters call to inquire availability of their event date 1-2 before their planned event
date.
2. If the desired date is available, a refundable Security/Cleaning Deposit of $150.00 is required at the time the rental
contract is signed to secure the desired date(s). (Checks with non-sufficient funds will be assessed a $15.00 fee. )
3. Any outstanding rental fees and a Certificate of Liability/Special Event Endorsement for the “Residents of Rio Rico”
are due no less than two (2) weeks prior to or before rental event. Failure to comply with these requirements may
result in cancellation of your event. (Please check with your home, business, or renter’s insurance carrier.)
4. Notice of cancellation must be made at least ten (10) days prior to rental event date for Security Deposit refund.
5. Full Security/Cleaning Deposit will be refunded by RRPOA/RRCC Treasurer within two (2) weeks after rental event.
Property will be left as per rental agreement (left clean, swept, in an undamaged condition and all food, trash and
personal belongings removed from premises). Mopping is not required. (A minimum of $75.00 will be deducted
from Deposit for non-compliance of trash removal.)
6. Property left by renter at the facility will be disposed of. Removal of rented chairs and/or tables from an outside
vendor are the responsibility of the renter.
7. No alcohol to minors.
8. No partisan politics.
9. Groups and organizations utilizing the Rio Rico Community Center must agree to not discriminate against anyone
wishing to join activities in this facility - based on Sex, Ethnic Origin, Age, Religion or Disability and shall abide by all
Federal and State laws regarding non-discrimination. Sale of alcohol will require a permit from the State of Arizona.
10. Building and Ramada can be rented together by same renter or separately by another renter on same
date. Unauthorized use of the Ramada area by building/hall renters without authorization is prohibited with
possible loss of Security/Cleaning Deposit.
